Using Wishpool

Wishpool is operated by an independent individual developer in the United States, not a company. Contact: support@wishpool.me. It is a family wishlist and gift-coordination service offered only in the United States. You must be 18 or older and located in the United States to sign in. Sign in with Google. Keep your account and profile-claim links private. Use only accounts and managed profiles you are authorized to control. Invite only adults aged 18+ using their Google sign-in email. Claim links and the resulting login are adults-only; never send a claim link to a child.

Children may only have parent-managed profiles, with no child login, no child email and nothing collected directly from children. A parent enters and manages their information. The current application does not verify age, country or parental authority. The ability to create a managed profile is not a determination that you may lawfully submit another person’s information.

Your lists and contributions

Submit only information and links you are entitled to share. Use Wishpool’s controls to choose list access and invitation roles. Authorized members can see shared wishes, and authorized nonrecipient viewers and shoppers can see gift-coordination information. People can copy or disclose what they see.

You retain any rights you have in your content. Proposed permission, for review: allow the operator to store, display to authorized users, back up and otherwise process content only as needed to provide, maintain and recover Wishpool. This draft does not grant marketing reuse or public display of private family content.

Do not use the service to harass, impersonate, distribute unlawful material, disclose others’ secrets, probe other families’ data or disrupt the service. Report suspected unauthorized access using the contact below; forwarding setup and delivery test are pending.

Gifts and external services

A reservation or purchased mark records a user’s coordination choice. Wishpool does not verify a merchant purchase, take payment, fulfill orders or guarantee that a gift arrives. Product and search links lead to outside services with their own terms and privacy practices. Check the item and seller yourself before buying.

Supported recipient views omit reservation and purchase information. Managing-adult shopper access, shared accounts and devices, copied messages, outside-store behavior and privileged operations have limits described in the privacy draft. “No escape hatch” means no recipient-facing reveal control; it is not a promise that nobody can ever learn a gift.

Service operation and leaving

Wishpool may have interruptions, errors or maintenance. Launch support is light. We aim to reply in about 48 hours. No staffed 24-hour response, guaranteed response time or uptime service level is offered. Wishpool has no ads and does not sell personal data. Proposed operating term, for review: the operator may restrict access or suspend service to contain abuse, protect privacy, maintain the system or comply with applicable obligations. A reliable suspension procedure still needs operational proof.

You can stop using Wishpool and sign out. Signing out does not delete your account or all sessions. The policy is account and personal-data deletion within 30 days of receipt of the request, after identity verification. Use support@wishpool.me via the contact below; forwarding setup and delivery test are pending. The detailed verification and deletion procedure still needs operational proof. Backup expiry within 30 days of the creation of each backup is policy, not proof of physical erasure. Removing a wish, leaving a list or revoking an invitation is not immediate erasure from storage or backups. Shared-content and backup limits are described in the privacy draft. The privacy draft’s separate policy limits Wishpool’s own server logs to 90 days from creation and support emails Wishpool holds to 90 days from receipt; those limits do not extend the 30-day deletion deadline or backup rule. Log-content audit and retention/deletion proof remain pending.

Changes to final terms need a dated version and an appropriate notice and acceptance approach. That approach, required notices, applicable consumer rights and any suitable dispute provisions remain pending review. No governing law or jurisdiction has been selected in this draft.

A parent or guardian must make access or deletion requests for a child’s managed profile. These requests require manual checks of the requesting adult’s identity and authority; software does not verify guardian status. Children should not contact us directly. The detailed request-handling procedure remains pending operational proof.
